President and Founder
Tynesha is President & founding partner of Freedom Dance Studio which was birthed in 2012 and designed to provide an outlet for youth in low-income communities in the City of Pompano Beach Florida to express themselves through creative arts.
Tynesha Lewis has a heart for youth. She has been formally dancing for the past eleven (11) years. She started in her church, Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, where she developed her passion to express herself and encourage and motivate others.
Tynesha Lewis has a vision and desire to encourage and inspire youth who would normally spend their time after school out on the street being unproductive.
Mother Willie Ruth Heath
Vice President and Mentor
Mother Willie Ruth Heath currently serves as Vice President and Mentor. Willie Ruth Heath is the proud parent of seven children and resides in Pompano Beach Florida with her nieces Tynesha and Ruthie Lewis whom she reared. She attends Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Rayfield and First Lady Bessie Showers.
Mother Heath has been a member for over thirty-five years and serves as the Church Mother, but also expresses motherly love toward all youth who she has an encounter with. She is a loving parent who is rooted and grounded in the principles and standards of rectitude.
She believes in the word of God and stands by it whole heartedly. In her spare time; she enjoys witnessing to people about Jesus, spending time with those in hospice, or preparing big southern meals for after church fellowship for members, visiting guests, and others in need. Mother Heath is faithful, dedicated, and expresses a love and passion for whatever she finds her hands to do.
Dr. Rayfield and First Lady Bessie Showers
Spiritual Leader and Mentor
Dr. Rayfield Showers is the Pastor of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, First Lady Bessie Showers, and they are proud parents of three. He is dedicated and faithful to whatever task is set before him. He is a very humble teacher when it comes down to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He knows how to dissect and distribute the word of God according to how God gives it to him and only say what is given to him by God. He reaches out and doesn’t mind giving to anyone who needs it. Likewise, Dr. Showers gives out of his heart which is honored by God according to Luke 6:38 - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
First Lady Bessie Showers is an educated school teacher and a Youth Sunday school teacher. She always helps and provides aide to others without seeking selfish gains for herself. She has a big heart and welcomes anyone without imposing on ones color or race. In addition she supports and stands by her husband and Pastor Dr. Rayfield Showers which God also honors. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife [see] that she reverence [her] husband. Eph.5:33.
